Adrienne Adams

President

The seed for The Write Vision Group, Inc. was planted in 2003. After earning her degree in English from the University of Illinois at Chicago, Adrienne Adams took some time to spend at home with family and ponder her next move.

It was during this time that Adrienne began to experience a yearning to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ through her own testimony and her gift of writing. As a teen parent, Adrienne struggled to take care of her children while still making education a top priority. Having experienced these struggles, Adrienne believed that it was especially important to be an encouragement to teens and young adults. With a vision in her mind and words on her heart, she set out to write her first book, "Breakthrough," which was released in 2008.

Now, Adrienne's passion is nurturing the writing capabilities of others. In a partnership with her sister, journalist Bridgette Outten, Adrienne has formed The Write Vision Group,  Inc. which now includes not just publishing, but teaching, business development, media and public relations.

Adrienne is an inspirational speaker and has most recently encouraged teens and young adults at the Sigma Gamma Rho Youth Symposium in Dayton, Ohio. She is currently on tour with recording artist, Rick, who penned and recorded the soundtrack to her book, “Breakthrough.” Adrienne is also the founder of the It’s Not Enough to Dream Women’s Small Business Circle, a group that encourages women in business and in faith.

Adrienne resides in Chicago with her husband and five children.

Bridgette Outten

Vice President

Bridgette certainly knows her way around media. She's been writing since she was 12 and became a published journalist at 20.

Bridgette has written for Marshall News Messenger (Texas), the Houston Chronicle, Black College Wire.com, Politic365 and most recently,
the Springfield News-Sun (Ohio) and AOL's Patch.com. In 2009, she received an Honorable Mention from the Ohio Associated Press Society for her community reporting.

Bridgette wanted to use her knowledge to assist  individuals, organizations, or businesses that may not have the resources for a full-time public relations professional, but need quality services.  Bridgette uses her gifts to consult organizations about public relations and marketing. She also collaborates with Adrienne Adams to produce quality content for The Write Vision Group's workshops and projects.

A Chicago native, Bridgette holds a bachelor's degree in print journalism from Texas Southern University in Houston. She grew up on Chicago's south side and is a product of the Chicago Public School system. She's a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.
